Introduction: A Notification of huge recruitment for the post of Junior Engineer, Sr. Section Engineer, Sr. P-way Supervisor, Chief Depot Material Superintendent and Depot Material Superintendent has been issued by RRB Thiruvananthapuram. There are 6449 Vacancies in all over the country going to be filled through eligible candidates in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 with different grade pays. Eligible candidates should send their duly filled application to the concerned office of RRB on or before 9th April, 2012 till 5.30 pm. - Sr. Section Engineer – 1402 Vacancies
- Junior Engineer – 4783 Vacancies
- Sr. P-way Supervisor – 160 Vacancies
- Chief Depot Material Superintendent – 37 Vacancies
- Depot Material Superintendent – 65 Vacancies
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 to 34800 with Different Grade Pay
Eligibility Criteria for all the Posts in RRB:
- Qualifications: Degree / Diploma in Engineering in different disciplines
- Age Limit: 18 to 33 years, 20 to 35 years and 18 to 35 years as on 01/07/2012. Upper age limit for SC/ST and OBC is relaxable by 5 years and years respectively

Selection Process: The Selection of eligible candidates for the Post of Junior Engineer, Sr. Section Engineer, Sr. P-way Supervisor, Chief Depot Material Superintendent and Depot Material Superintendent will be made on the basis of written test which will be held on 9th September 2012. A Written Test of 2 Hours consisting of 150 Multiple choice Questions will be comprised of Technical Ability, GA, General Intelligence, Arithmetic and Reasoning. Short listed candidates after this written test will be called for document verification
Examination Fees: Rs.60 for all candidates except SC/ST/EXS/PH/Women/EBC is required to be sent in the form of Demand Draft / IPO with the application
How to apply: Since, RRB is accepting offline application, So Candidate need to have a application form, fill it up with proper details, paste a latest colour passport size photograph on it and send with DD/IPO, one identical photograph as pasted on the application form, copies of supporting documents to the Concerned Office of RRB on or before 09/07/2012 upto 5.30 pm

Those awaiting results of final examination need not apply for Junior Engineer or Sr. Section Engineer in RRB against this recruitment
