Introduction: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to organize an All India Examination for the recruitment to 1857 Posts of Sub-Inspector in CAPF in the pay scale of Rs.9300 to 34800 and 338 Posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF in the pay scale of Rs.5200 to 20200. Any Graduate Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria may apply offline or online for the post of Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector through website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) http://ssconline.nic.in till 14/03/2012 (Part-Registration) and 16/03/2012 (Part-II Registration). - Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2800 GP
Eligibility Criteria for Sub Inspector & Asst. Sub Inspector in SSC:
Age and Relaxations: Minimum and Maximum age for both the posts should be between 20 to 25 years as on 16/03/2012. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC / ST is 5 years and for OBC is 3 years
Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have Graduate Degree in any disciplines are eligible for the Posts of Sub Inspector & Assistant Sub Inspector in SSC

Physical Efficiently Test (PET):
Male:
- 100 Meters race in 16 second
- 1.6 kms race in 6.5 Minutes
- Long Jump: 3.65 Meters
- High Jump: 1.2 Meters
- Shot Put: 16 Lbs: 4.5 Meters
Female:
- 100 Meters race in 18 second
- 800 Meters race in 4 Minutes
- Long Jump: 9 Feet
- High Jump: 3 Feet
Weight: It should be according to Height as per medical standard
Eye Sight: 6/6 and 6/9
Selection Process: Selection of the candidates for the post of Sub Inspector in CAPE and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be done on the basis of Written Test, PET, PST, Medical Test and Interview
Mode of Payment: Application Fees of Rs.100 can be paid in the form of CRF Stamp in case of Off Line application or it can be paid through SBI Challan / Online Payment in case Online application
