It was computer based examination held on 4th, 5th, 6th 7th and 11th June 2016. Only those candidates who have appeared in the examination conducted on 20/03/2016 can check this Re-Examination Result made available by SSC.

SSC SI/ASI Recruitment 2016

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to organize an All India Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPF and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 and Rs.5200 to 20200 respectively. Any Graduate Candidates who fulfill other eligibility criteria may apply online for the post of SI and ASI through the Commission's website till 02/02/2016 (Part-I Registration) and 05/02/2016 (Part-II Registration). Date of Exam: 20/03/2016 (Paper-I), 05/06/2016 (Paper-II).

Sub Inspector in CAPFs (CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, SSB)
  • Pay Scale: (PB-2) Rs.9300 to 34800 + Rs.4200 GP
Sub Inspector in Delhi Poice
  • Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 + Rs.4200 GP
Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF
  • Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2800 GP

Eligibility Criteria for Entire the Above posts
  • Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have Graduate Degree in any disciplines are eligible for the Posts. Male candidates who are applying for the post of SI in Delhi Police should have a valid Driving License for LMV and must carry it on the date stipulated for Physical Test otherwise they will not be allowed for Physical Test.
  • Age Limits and Relaxations: Minimum and Maximum age for both the posts should be between 20 and 25 years as on 01/01/2016. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC / ST is 5 years and for OBC is 3 years.

  • 100 Meters race in 16 second

  • Shot Put: 16 Lbs: 4.5 Meters in 3 chances
  • 100 Meters race in 18 second
  • 800 Meters race in 4 Minutes
  • Long Jump: 2.7 Metres (9 Feet) in 3 chances
  • High Jump: 0.9 metres (3 Feet) in 3 chances
Weight: It should be according to Height as per medical standard

Eye Sight: 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction.

Selection Process: Selection of the candidates for the post of will be done on the basis of Written Test of 200 Marks for Paper-I and 200 Marks for Paper-II, PST/PET and Medical Test. Interview will not be conducted.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs.100 through Net Banking or Using Debit/ Credit Card or using SBI Challan. There is no application fee for SC / ST / EXS and women candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates for the post of SI & ASI may apply through online. Online application Part-I will be made till 02/02/2016 upto 05 pm and Part-II will be made till 05/02/2016 upto 5 PM through the website Before filling up online application, candidates must ensure that they have scanned photograph and signature in jpg format as it will be required at the time of online application.
